Summer DaycampIf you are looking for total horse immersion and a dream-come-true for your little horse lover, then Wynbrook Farm is the place to be during the summer! Children between the ages of 8 and 14 years can get to know their horse or pony during one of our 2 week sessions during the month of August. The 2012 fees are $750 for the 2 weeks and we limit our enrollment to just 18 children per session. With 4 - 5 staff members, we can divide the children in 2 or 3 smaller groups and keep our standards of professional care as high as ever. All of our saddles are equipped with safety stirrups and we supply ASTM safety-approved riding helmets to all the campers.
Wynbrook Farm Summer Daycamp is a totally amazing farm experience where each child will get to know their one special horse for the entire session. We teach them how to do everything with "their" horse - leading in from the field, feeding them, grooming and putting on the saddles and bridles. They will ride twice every day with a morning lesson and an afternoon pony game such as bareback riding, riding double, trail riding or basketball "Wynbrook style". Swimming in our above-ground pool provides a refreshing break from the heat and excitement, while nature hikes, trampoline and scavenger hunts round out the activities of our full camp program.
2012 Session #1 = July 23rd to August 3rd
2012 Session #2 = August 13th to 24th

Camp activities begin at 8:30am and end at 4:30pm and we can help arrange suitable car-pooling, should that be necessary. Children can arrive anytime after 8:00am daily but must be picked up no later than 5:00pm, as those are staff hours too. Our Lounge provides a cool place to relax and enjoy their lunch break as there are plenty of couches and tables as well as a fridge and microwave. All children will receive a camp Tshirt as well as horse show ribbons at our "end-of-session" horse show which is a great photo opportunity for parents and friends, so don't forget your camera!
